I have the same problem with my vision. It started back in November. I thought I was having a stroke and went to the doctors. That is when I found out that I have CM1 and at the time the doctor thought I had Myastina Gravis. There is medication for the double vision that you can take and its will correct immediately. Its been 4 .5 months and I stopped taking the medication and still have the blurry vision at times and the double vision at times when I turn left only. The double vision when looking straight or the right side has not come back as of yet. I also went to the eye doctor and he is very confuse with my symptoms, but not sure what it is. If you ware an eye patch that will help until you get the medication. Not sure of name, but your doctor will know what it is. It is very frustrating, but I guess it comes with the CM!.
I have this ....Scintillating scotoma.... I had it a lot before... and ironically yesterday was the first time that I had it since my surgery. :( Not sure if this helps.
Last year my eye dr said my right eye is getting worse, but offered no explanation. Actually, it seems to me that my vision flunctuates. An mri a few years ago reveals a chiari, but also severe cervical problems, all from an injury years ago. I went to the spine center at Vanderbilt, but I was supposed to be sent to the brain center (referring phys. made mistake). Now the spine center says I need to do something soon about my neck, but I think my chiari should be evaluated, because a neurosurgeon, a few yr ago, said both brain & neck surgery should be done at same time. If I ever find pout about the vision/chiari connection, I will post on here. Best of luck to you.
