Upper chest/throat discomfort

I know the throat is a common but what about the upper chest? I'm guessing this is just tightness of the muscles and other connective tissue.

What do you do for it?

The only thing I've learned to do is watch what I wear. I purchased a bunch of V neck shirts and polo's. Prior to this I never wore V necks ever, I thought they looked bad. I found at Target Mossimo V necks and they look nice and are comfortable. I think I've bought about 2 dozen of them. I can wear a black one and kahaki's to a nice event or I can wear them to the gym or when working around the house.

Montie,

So many of us have discomfort in the neck and chest. I have to have very soft cotton shirts no necklaces or anything tight. I also buy several of some shirts and pajamas that work for me. There is a great book that Abby recomends it's called Conquer Chiari and it has alot of tips like that in it and a whole wealth of information in it. I use heat packs to losen up my neck muscles. Some people have better luck with ice. I would definitely get the book if you can. It's really great.
