Steriods and having your period question.. Pregnant or paranoid?

I haven’t had a period in years, I’ve been on seasonique which is the period every 3 months but after 8 years being on it eventually you might not have one which my doctor says no big deal…

Now it’s 6 weeks after surgery I am on the last week which normally would be period week but never for me for at least 2 or 3 years then it was every 6 months or so. So now this week I wouldn’t call it a period as I don’t need a pad or tampon… But I know I was on antibiotics and also steriods which I know can make your BC not work… We have had sex twice in the 6 weeks since surgery… I am cramps but not like period cramps… Oh and he pulled out no condoms and before anything really came out so I figure the chance of being pregnant is slim even tho i did get pregnant while on the pill and antibiotics once before.

So could all the drugs I’ve been on cause me to have a period or could I be pregnant if we had sex like 2 weeks ago?! But no pregnant symptoms either and not to be gross but it’s like brown not like blood blood but there.

I start a new pack of pills Sunday so the week we has sex would have been “the week” to get pregnant and yes still on steriods at that time!

Is it too early to pee on a stick? Am I just being paranoid and the drugs just really messed up my no period thing?!

I am a little freaked out!

I think it’s possible that the meds could’ve just messed up your hormones/cycle. But I googled and first response makes a preg test that will give you results 6 days before your missed period.

Thank you! I just haven’t had ANY type of period or spotting in so long it’s just unusual… I googled too and I know Sunday I start a new pack of pills but bought a double pack of the first response which after Donna posted I googled and seems to be the most accurate for testing early or the clear blue easy. I am paranoid as shit!!

So I read it doesn’t have to be morning urine if I haven’t peed in 4 hours and haven’t drank a lot to make sure I can go lol which i haven’t because I didn’t know husband was picking it up to ease my mind so I will take one in an hour or so and then wait til Sunday or Monday. Just to make sure… Yep he got a double pack lol

Ok it was negative lol I feel better now! Well except the mild cramps… Ya know when you haven’t had one for years you forget how much it us is lol
