It has been 5 1/2 months since my decompression, and I will be heading into the hospital on Thursday to get a shunt in my syrnix. I have two of them, a large one and a smaller one,...my symptoms as far as numbness and tingling have progressed, so we decided this was my best option at this time...

I am wondering about length in the hospital? How long will I be off my feet? I was in the hospital for 8 days with my decompression, and I am not really mentally ready to do that again.

Any advice for this procedure.?

Thanks!

Yes I am hoping for a quick recovery, with a lot less down time, and hope I am in out out quickly. :)
