Looks like I will be heading for surgery with Dr. Tew in Cincinatti,OH in the Spring. I am scared and excited at the same time. Are there any other conditions or tests that one should have done or looked at or before having surgery?

I have had brain, cervical & thoracic MRI as well as CINE MRI

You should have everything you need! I feel like Mayfield was really thorough about making sure nothing else could be causing my symptoms before they recommended surgery. You are in really good hands! Good luck to you! You will be on the other side of this before you know it! I'm 9 weeks post-op and still find myself amazed that I actually had brain surgery!
