I was just diagnosed with occipital neuralgia by a pain management specialist. I am going to get injections in a few weeks to help with the headaches and he increased my neurontin to help with the nerve pain. I am really hoping it helps my headaches. My neurologist had been giving me medication for migraines and they weren’t doing a thing. Has anyone else been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia? If so what was your experience? Thanks, Katie ---

Katie, since there hasn’t been any response yet, you can look at old discussions about occipital neur…type it into the search bar at the top of the discussions page and see what comes up. I’m sorry you are having this much pain, and please let us know what your experience is with it. Jenn ---
