# Nerve pain

I am almost four months post-op from spinal decompression. I am really suffering from pain/tingling on my right side. Initially, I thought it was better, but that may have been all the narcotics. Now, it is just as bad as it was before surgery. For those of you who suffer from similar pain, how to you treat it or cope with it?

Hi Katie,

I personally get nerve blocks. Nerve pain medications don't work well for me. I do take Amitriptylene at night. Everything else I tried gave me brain fog and other side effects. Do you have a good NL or pain mgmt. specialist?
