Micrognathia and chiari

I was just wondering if there’s anyone who has micrognathia along with chiari. If you have it, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The lower jaw is abnormally small. Sleep apnea is present. Some people have it worse than others. I’m wondering if there is a link between the 2.

Anybody?

Thanks! I thought just Maybe, there could be a connection somehow. We are in the midst of trying to go forth with jaw surgery. Come to find out, it’s actually Retrognathia and Not micrognathia. Micro meaning small and retro meaning recessed. Her bottom jaw sits back too far and is the reason for her obstructive sleep apnea. Sadly surgery is the only treatment. We tried the cpap but she doesn’t tolerate it. On to plan B…I suppose.

I haven’t come across anyone on the site that also has micrognathia. However, jaw problems in general are common with Chiari. I will do some research and see what I come up with, though.
