# Julia is in!

Julia is currently in her surgery. Started about an hour ago. Everything has gone smooth so far. The nurses and anesthesiologists have been awesome. Now we just sit and wait.

Julia’s surgery went great! Her surgeon said no surprises, exactly how he saw it on the scans. She had the decompression,laminectomy of c1 and duraplasty. The cool part is no staples! She has dissolvable stitches and surgical glue keep it together that will come off by Sunday. They are even considering letting her go home later this afternoon! Just so thankful to have the healing begin!
