Insane fatigue and one glimmer of good news

I've always suffered w/ fatigue. This past year it has gotten a lot worse. Since I quit DOING anything as much as possible the pain has been manageable (typically 1-3 super bad days/month compared to 1-3 bad pain days/week).

Well... my kids brought illness into the house about 2 weeks ago and since I got sick the fatigue has been CRAZY!! Night before last I was in bed 10.5 hours.... after spending an hour on the couch. Last night was 11.5 hours! Granted, I never sleep through, but I've actually been sleeping 'better' lately... and still feeling worse.

Now the good news: I saw my PCP yesterday and he wrote me a note to give to the welfare's disability First-to-Work program. I haven't worked at all since the end of July, but since the welfare's psych doc said I CAN work 20 hours/week I was going to be in a world of trouble as of next week... Thankfully my PCP supports my claim that I'm basically completely useless right now and until the neurosurgeon is done w/ his evaluation and treatment and/or until my PCP reevaluates me.
