I used to love winter, but the last year I absolutely hated it. It makes me miserable, my entire body gets so achey and just hurts. I figured it was just me getting older haha I do have Raynauds too which makes my fingers and toes turn white or purple or blue when I am cold or go from warm to cold. It makes them numb and hurt!
So at my job it is always freezing in our office. Everyone complains, not just me. I have been wearing two pairs of socks, layered shirts, and under armor pants when I can. I also keep my coat on all day and have a heat mat at my feet but it doesn't get very warm. But I have found by the end of the day my back and neck pain is a lot worse then say on a weekend when I am home and warm all day. Does anyone else's symptoms get worse with the cold or being cold for a long period of time? Curious if i has anything to do with the chiari or just me in general lol
When i get too cold it makes my back get all spazzy and cramped up. It has been so cold here this week I’ve been trying to wear thermals under my clothes if I have to go out. And a scarf is a must. Without it I’m so much colder.
Well at least I know and feel like my complaints are justified then lol
Our office is ALL windows and its cold. I wear my gloves off and on all day or I cant feel my fingers to even type. But when you are the only female in an IT dept full of men.. I think they just think I am bitching to bitch when it seriously does hurt. After work I am so damn stiff it isn't even funny.
Guess I need to buy more under armor clothes or something. I also have a fleece blanket on my lap too!
Yes. The cold makes my back ache and crampy. I also get a headache from being "stiff." My feet are always cold but when it's cold it makes them numb/tingley.
