Hi all,
Not sure if you've seen this article yet, it was released in November or December of 2012. It's pretty technical, and LONG, but if you read through it, the authors have done a lot of research on EDS and hypermobility and associated disorders and symptoms.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3512326/
Something I read in this article or another like it, discusses hypermobile children being scared of falling because they don't have accurate joint position sensing. I was very scared of falling as a child, anyone else have a similar experience? I was extra careful always. My 7 year old is extra careful as well.
And one of the things I didn't realize could be connected to the hypermobility is the bumps on the backs of my arms and legs (kerastosis pilaris).
Take care,
Mandy
