# Family Members

I would like some input on how many of you also have found family members with this.

i know there are a few people who have more then one person in their family with Chiari.

My son was actually diagnosed before I was. It was through researching Chiari after his diagnosis that I started putting some of my symptoms together. When we saw the NS with him, I told him I was experiencing many of the things he had just asked my son if he had. He recommended I have an MRI. I was diagnosed in September. When visiting that same NS for me, he suggested that my other son have an MRI as he has some minor symptoms. We have not done that yet. I have some family members who suffer from migraines, they are going to see about getting tested - just in case.
