Hi everyone. Hope everyone is doing well and thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm so sorry I have not been active. Just been busy with cooties going around and the holidays. And I just found out that I have some cervical disc issues that will prob need surgery. A couple of bulging discs with an anular tear and a herniation with retrolithesis. C4/c5, c5/c6 &c6/c7 are all involved. That's not my question though, lol. I have a lot of stomach issues and I see a lot of things on here about EDS. Could someone kinda tell me what it is in a nutshell. I'm wondering if I should be checked for that. On a side note , I also have a rare congenital heart defect called Ebsteins Anomaly/Malformation. Thanks Emmaline. I knew it prob would be lol. Thanks for the link. I looked it up earlier and I do have some of the characteristics of EDS (joint hypermobility being one) so I just wanted to see if I could learn more about it. Thanks again!

You can look up the Brighton criteria and the Beighton criteria to get an idea of how its diagnosed.

Side note \* not everyone with EDS had sought skin and the actual hypermobility of joints can lessen over time as we age.
