Aquatic physical therapy?

I started seeing a physical therapist to try and correct some twisting and pain in my back and muscle weakness while we wait for Dr. Ellenbogen to look over my charts. She wants me to get in their pool but I'm worried about it. I know if you have swollen ankles, getting in the deep end can push the lymph fluid back up your legs - can it do the same thing to your cerebrospinal fluid? Like, can the water pressure on your spinal column push fluid up into your brain?

We've both been trying to research it but not many results. Has anyone else done aquatic physical therapy?

I’m waiting for this answer I’ve been playing with the idea of water exercise but no holding breath because I’m sure it would cause a headache but I have to to something to build strength and lose weight I have gained 29 pounds since this started!!! Let me know what you find out I’m very scared to exercise but a year ago I was running 4-8 miles every day :frowning: I have to find something.
