Is an itchy scalp something that anyone else is going through? My daughter has some days when it is itchy and gradually gets worse by days end. Thank you.

Yes I do have horrible scalp itching due to it being dry. When I lived in Wyoming it was much worse. Having a humidifier running 24/7 helped a lot, and hot oil treatments for your hair. It’s like putting lotion on it. I also found that if I washed my hair every day with deep cleaning shampoos it got worse. Now I find that if I know that I’m going to be staying in for a couple of days I will skip washing my hair so that my natural oils can lubricate my scalp. I also use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. My daughter always kids me about the fact that I’ve never had greasy hair a day in my life and how jealous she is!
I've been having crazy dry skin since I was diagnosed... I don't know if it's related to the Chiari or not. I have patches of dry skin on my scalp that drive me nuts. I have stopped washing my hair daily since it strips out your natural oils and can dry things out even more... That's helped a little. And keeping super hydrated. Other than that, I'm at a loss.
