# Advise on my 3year old

My son has chiari type 1. We went to our fourth neurosurgeon today ands he also recommended decompression surgery as well as a procedure to fuse his spine to his skull. Has anyone’s child had this donee or any adult. And what are your thoughts on the fusion ?
