# Abnormal ECG

So I got most of my pre op stuff done today. My ECG was abnormal. I have a left bundle branch block. They found this in December during an echo and also mitral regurgitation. Nobody thought I needed to do anything but now my pcp wants me to see a cardiologist before surgery just to make sure I’ll be ok for surgery. Does anyone else have anything like this?
I have an appt Tuesday with a cardiologist.

Lots of people have them and unless you are having cardiac symptoms they don’t usually do much. Your pcp is being cautious and smart. Better to be looked at by cardiologist before this major surgery.
